Tour Plan
- We start at the charming harbor of Elounda. From there, we board a boat and sail toward Kolokitha Bay.
- At Kolokitha Beach, you can swim in the clear blue water or simply relax under the sun. Meanwhile, we prepare a tasty BBQ lunch on board. The meal includes grilled pork chop, Greek salad, feta cheese, fresh bread, seasonal fruit, and a drink—your choice of wine or Fanta.
- After about 1.5 hours at the beach, the Spinalonga Tour with lunch continues as we head to Spinalonga Island. This small island has a deep and emotional history. In the past, it served as a natural defense for the ancient city of Olous. Later, it became a pirate hideout, then a Venetian fortress, and finally a Turkish settlement. In more recent times, it was known as a leper colony. During the guided tour, you’ll learn about each chapter of its story.
- Once we finish exploring Spinalonga, we return by boat to Elounda. Then, we take a short bus ride to our last stop. On the way, we enjoy a quick olive oil tasting, where you can sample one of Crete’s best local products.
- Finally, we arrive in Agios Nikolaos, the capital of Lasithi. Here, you can stroll along the harbor, enjoy a coffee by the beautiful Lake Voulismeni, or browse the local shops for souvenirs.
